Contemporary green morocco elaborately gilt. Provenance: N. Norcliffe (bookplate). The 12 plates are presumably printed under the patronage of the Society for the Encouragement of Artists and belonged to a series of 44 plates, published in issues of 4 plates. They were engraved by K. Bergov, A.P. Brjulow and others. Sold not subject to return.
