An oak and inlaid court cup-board, English, early 17th century
with moulded plank top and frieze drawer, chequer inlaid and flanked by marblewood panels (part lost), supported by angled lions, their front paws resting on cartouches, the middle tier with geometrical patterns, previously inlaid, above a gadrooned drawer with central foliate tablet and similar projecting corners, supported by winged griffin like creatures and planked undertier with stile feet, the back supports fluted, the sides of the lowest tier replaced -- 46in.
