The compressed globular body painted on the shoulder with four jar-shaped reserves filled with fishnet pattern and outlined in dark red, separated by fields of checkerboard pattern outlined in a barbed black band, the scalloped border below interrupted by a pair of lug handles positioned below small pierced tabs projecting from below the mouth rim, some chips--12½in. (31.7cm.) across handles
