A SMALL GLAZED INCISED BOWL
SPRING AND AUTUMN-WARRING STATES PERIOD

The deep, flared sides rising from a flat base and swelling at the shoulder which is encircled by a band carved with narrow, vertical grooves, covered inside and out with a transparent glaze of olive-green tone; together with an unusual molded gray pottery disc, Han Dynasty, of flattened cushion form, each side molded in thread relief with bands of decorative motifs encircling a central roundel, all on a ground of tiny raised dots--4 and 4 3/8in. (10.2 and 11.1cm.) diam. (2)
