Shown standing on a rectangular base with head thrown back in a bray, with a pair of bulging packs slung between the humps over pack-boards, the facial features crisply molded and with incised trappings on the body, all under a now-degraded glaze of straw tone, with traces of dark red pigment on an unglazed area of the back hump and rump, some restored--14½in.
