A FINE SMALL CARVED DINGYAO DISH
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY

The shallow sides rising in a gentle curve from the flat base to the unglazed rim, well carved on the interior with a lotus blossom arching outwards from a stem of feathery leaves, covered inside and out with a glaze of ivory tone--4 15/16in. (12.5cm.) diam.
