AN UNUSUAL WHITE STONEWARE PEDESTAL BOWL AND COVER
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY
The deep, thinly potted sides divided into seven lobes and raised on a pedestal foot with upturned rim, the domed cover with flanged rim and small stalk knop, covered on the exterior of the cover and bowl with a transparent glaze of ivory tone falling short of the unglazed foot rim, the interior of the bowl similarly glazed except for a circle in the center, small chips to interior rim of cover--5in. (12.57cm.) high
