Of globular form with short neck and slightly spreading foot, covered in a lustrous black glaze thinning to reddish-brown over the vertical fillets of white slip forming the ribs and stopping evenly to expose the grayish-buff body, tiny rim chips--4 1/4in. (10.8cm.) high
