(Since childhood I found the biggest mysteries in light, those natural elements had a mysterious attraction on me...that is why in my last works, there is nothing but light.)

This quote from the artist condenses and expands the beauty and mystery of the present painting. Pettoruti is like a magician that translates into canvas the effects of the rankings of light and the fluorescence of its tones. He abstracts himself from any figuration to grant an emotional and living meaning to geometric forms.
