A RARE NORTHERN CELADON LOBED BOWL
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY
The flared sides subtley lobed and rounding upwards to a finger- grooved band at the base of the upright rim, covered overall with a transparent, bubble-suffused glaze of grayish-olive tone falling short in the center of the interior to form an unglazed ring burnt brownish-orange in the firing--5½in. (14cm.) diam.
