EMBIDO, says the first player. EMBIDO, replies the opponent. FALTA EMBIDO, responds the first player betting the whole game with his three cards that he can win. The other can answer with a no quiero or quiero to try and possibly call his bluff. Truko, the famous and traditional Argentine card game is played with cards that have pictures of gold coins and swords instead of the traditional heart and spade. Played in school yards by kids or with adults in a bar, this well-known game is played by everyone of all ages. The object, try to beat your opponent with the highest cards, (usually the One Sword) and hope that you are the first to call EMBIDO.
