A FINE YELLOW-GROUND BLUE AND WHITE BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD

Decorated on the exterior with a pair of five-clawed dragons striding amidst fire scrolls and divided by lingzhi sprigs surmounted by quatrefoil cartouches enclosing the characters shou and fu, above a band of overlapping petals encircling the base, all reserved against a ground of even egg-yolk-yellow tone, the foot and rim with double-line borders, with a similar dragon roundel in the interior--5¼in. (13.4cm.) diam.
