A WHITE-GLAZED INCISED BALUSTER VASE

Of slender, elegant form with long trumpet neck and waisted foot, decorated on the exterior with an allover pattern of bats amidst clouds above a band of ruyi heads encircling the base, all under a creamy white glaze thickening slightly at the mouth rim--9 3/8in. (23.8cm.) high; together with a small white-glazed meiping, 18th/19th century, the thick glaze of ge type suffused with a faint brown crackle --5 1/4in. (13.3cm.) high (2)
