A YELLOWISH-GREEN JADE CARVING OF A MYTHICAL BEAST

Shown in a recumbent position with head raised and turned to the side above the front paws, the face carved with flat muzzle, bared teeth, curved brows and rounded ears flanking a short horn, the brows, mane and segmented tail with fine, incised hair markings, the stone of of yellowish-green color with some pale brownish coloring and areas of added, soft russet coloring--4in. (10.2cm.) long, wood stand
