Raised on three, small taotie mask supports, the deep, translucent sides well carved with a broad band of dragon scroll within double-line borders, executed in assured grooved lines and enhanced by fine incised details, all set between narrow bands of scrolls reserved on a fine cross-hatched ground at the rims and interrupted by the angular, strap handle projecting from one side, carved with a taotie mask on top and terminating in a hooked scroll at its base, the stone with lustrous polish showing small areas of opaque, buff alteration from burial--3¾in. (9.5cm.) high
