Carved seated with his left knee raised, holding a small alms bowl at his chest, dressed in loose robes incised and gilded with floral borders and cloud-form designs and falling in soft folds around the base, his face with bemused expression and faint moustache and beard framed by pendulous ears and high forehead, tiny chips, repaired--2 3/4in. (7cm.) high
