YONGZHENG
Depicting a groom with protrudent belly standing by a caparisoned, black-glazed horse, supported on a waisted square plinth pierced with circular and oval apertures, the moustached figure dressed in a short front-closing jacket glazed green over short black trousers, and a conical Mandarin's hat, the horse with a yellow and green saddle hung over a saddle pad decorated with a wave-pattern border and edged in pink, the rest of its trappings picked out in blue, green, yellow and gray, minor restoration and chips--7 3/8in. (18.7cm.) high
