Lot Essay

Anthony Aziz and Sammy Cucher met as graduate students at the San Francisco Art Institute, where they started collaborating in 1990. They have been awarded the Ruttenberg Award from the Friends of Photography/Ansel Adams Center in San Francisco; and have received grants from Art Matters Inc. and the Western States Art Federation.
