The slightly elongated head with pendulous earlobes set back from the face, softly carved with downcast eyes, arched brow, and lips turned upwards in a gentle smile, all framed by a dense cap of tight curls, the stone of reddish-brown tone, mounted, (wear)--13¾in. (43.9cm.) high
