The frosted gilt fusee movement with pierced and engraved cock and foot to the edge of the top plate with rose-cut diamond endstone, chain fusee to going train, engraved spring barrels to the striking and alarm trains, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute indexes, Breguet hands, centre seconds, the gilt case decorated with stylised foliate motifs amongst rosets and leafage, the reverse of the case with a genre scene in a wooded landscape near a church, movement signed, circa 1775
