A George I miniature or toy coffee set, comprising:
a tapering coffeepot (cover and handle detachable); a set of six tea bowls on collet feet; a covered sugar bowl with a knop finial; and a set of six saucers, by Josiah Daniel, 1715-20 (no date letters), each piece later chased all over with floral scrollwork, some pieces with birds, some with squirrels in the decoration; together with a later chased miniature octagonal teapot and cover with a bird mask spout, unmarked (marks probably lost in decoration), probably early 18th century, the saucers lacking collet feet, the teapot with a replacement handle, the teapot 6.5cm high, 8.25oz.
