Nelson's Report from H.M.S. Medusa, off Boulogne, 4th August: ..the wind being favourable for the bombs to act, I made signal for them to weigh, and to throw shells at the vessels, but as little as possible to annoy the town;...The whole of this affair is of no further consequence, than to shew the enemy they cannot with impunity, come outside their ports.
