A fine and original single cylinder diving pump by Siebe, Gorman & Co. fully stamped and numbered 340, circa late 1890's
housed within heavily constructed metal bound mahogany box with hinged arched lid with handle, lock, applied plate embossed Water Supply, the interior lined with printed instructions, the main case with securing rings front and back, 5in. dia pressure gauge and hinged cover, large cast makers plate with Royal cypher, air outlet and cover embossed AIR at bottom, the back with water overflow and drawoff points, two turned rosewood handles and large cast flywheel -- 38in.
