The silvered dial signed and numbered Ulysse Nardin Locle, Suisse 218, Roman hour numerals, yellow metal hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials with blued steel hands, the top-plate inscribed Ulysse Nardin Locle No.218 , earnshaw escapement and with electric contacts, Guillaume cut bimetallic balance with four small cylindrical heat compensation weights, blue steel helical balance spring, Ulysee Nardin flat steel spring detent with jewelled locking pallet to side of banking block, brass bowl, gimball mounted in brass pillars above a marble base -- 250 x 140mm, dial diam -- 100mm.
