The silvered dial signed and numbered Gerh.D.Wempe, Hamburg, ABT. Chronometer Werke, Arabic hour numerals, yellow metal hour and minute hands, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials with blued steel hands, fusee movement, lever escapement with start/stop assembly, Guillaume balance with four small cylindrical heat compensation weights, blued steel helical balance spring, aluminium bowl with integral form of rubber gimball, aluminum bowl with alteration controls [at VIII], plain two-tier box with glazed top and exteranl brass drop handles, dial diam -- 95mm.; box -- 185 x 185 x 170mm.
