An early 19th Century fully rigged boxwood French Prisoner of War model of a 64-gun R.N. Man of War
with bound masts, yards with stun's'l booms, standing and running rigging, carved figurehead, hair rails, belaying rails, anchors with wooden stocks, catheads, rope coils, gratings, upper deck guns, deck lights, ship's boat and other details. The hull, copper sheathed to the waterline has decorated stern and quarter galleries, open gun ports and is mounted on a straw work decorated base on bone supports. Measurements -- 10 x 13in.
