A Cadot; circa 1870
The double-plated glass with etched and painted Roman and Arabic chapters to the front with pierced hands, the foliate cast gilt frame with a cartouche to the top and small volutes at the sides, later velvet covered stand supported on a break-front moulded ebonised wood plinth, the movement with going barrel and platform cylinder escapement, the backplate stamped A. Cadot, Bte SGDG 1308
