The gridiron terminating in a blue painted sphere applied with a pierced gilt-metal monogram and with gilt stars with one star hinged to reveal the winding aquare, the going barrel movement numbered 2669 92 69 on the plates, anchor escapement, the circular bevelled glass-plate dial back-painted with gilt Roman chapters, the foliate pierced and chased gilt counter-balanced hands housing a trip mechanism in the centre responding to the rocking motion of the pendulum and driving the hands
