The white enamel dial of regulator format, signed Louis Berthoud Horger de la Marine No. 114, subsidiary hour dial (at XII) with Roman numerals, outer minutes dial with Arabic five minute intermarkers 60-5-10 et seque, the edge of the dial-plate inscribed No.114 Construite par Louis Berthoud, blued steel hands, full-plate movement with Arnold escapement the top plate inscribed the Escapemnent Ballance (sic) Spring by Arnold Construite par Louis Berthoud No. 114, Arnold bi-metallic balance with tangential screw format heat compensation screws, heavy gauge blued steel helical balance spring of six coils, Arnold spring detent with (replacement) jewelled locking stone, in inner brass drum container within (later) outer bowl and gimbal and (later) plain three-tier mahogany box with replaced top-lid, the middle section with inset rectangular unsigned bone plaque, bolt action locking arm assembly.
