The silvered dial of regulator format signed Construite par Berthoud Fre No. 164, subsidiary hours dial with Roman numerals(at XII), outer minutes dial with Arabic five minute intermarkers 5-10-15 et seque, subsidiary seconds dial (at VI), applied up-and-down dial (at III), blued steel hands, full plate movement with grey finish steel pillars, Earnshaw escapement, 18,000 quick train three-armed cut bimetallic balance each with small segmental heat compensation weights and meantime screws, blued steel helical balance spring, replacement flat strip steel spring detent with jewelled locking stone to side of modified banking block in drum case, now contained in seperate later brass bowl, gimbal and plain three-tier mahogany box, the top lid with sliding cover over glazed viewing port, brass drop handles
