The herringbone-inlaid case with later skirt supporting the plinth, break-arch trunk door, the flat top hood with pierced wood quarter frets, the dial signed Thos:Moore, Ipswich, on a silvered plaque in the added arch flanked by dolphin spandrels, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with pierced black painted hands, the matted centre signed Thos:Moore, Ipswich on a silvered plaque with subsidiary seconds ring and calendar apeture, urn-and-eagle spandrels, the five pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; associated and with alterations
