Lot Essay

This panel and the following lot, number 295, come from Tiffany's home on Oyster Bay. There are some related panels in the collection of the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park, Florida, which were salvaged by Hugh McKean after the 1957 fire that destroyed Laurelton Hall.
