Maker's mark CIL, Rouen, 1756-1762
Plain circular with moulded rim, with shaped bracket engraved with a the figure of a man with a child on his back, in his left hand he holds a wine-bottle and in his right a wine-glass, engraved above with the inscription 'AU GAGNE PETIT' with a band with rose terminals, with plain ring handle beneath, the side engraved 'M f de La ruee', marked on side and handle
