Maker's mark of Christian Drentwett, Augsburg, 1767-1769
Plain oval and on spreading foot, with two leaf-capped side scroll handles and moulded border, one end chased with shells and scrolls, the other with short spout chased with scrolls, the hinged cover with rocaille finial rising from a shell, the cover engraved with a coat-of-arms with coronet above, the base with 'No 1', marked on base
