Maker's mark of Georg Andreas Sedelmayr, Augsburg, 1732-1733
The stand shaped circular and with moulded rim, flat-chased with a border of scrolls, flowers and trellis-work on matted ground, the plain circular bowl with two bracket handles cast and chased with scrolls, bird's heads and strapwork, the flat topped domed cover with four scroll feet and similarly flat-chased border, the centre engraved with coat-of-arms with coronet above, in original fitted gilt tooled red leather travelling case, marked on stand, one handle and cover
