Maker's mark of Joseph and John Angell, London, 1845
Comprising a coffee-pot, teapot, cream-jug and sugar-bowl, each hexagonal and on spreading rim foot, with angular bracket handles, the coffee-pot and teapot with ivory insulators and hinged stepped domed covers with baluster finials, each finely engraved with columns and scrolls in the Chinoiserie style, and with chinamen, birds, foliage and foxes, each a engraved with a coat-of-arms, fully marked and engraved J. MAYER, GOLDSMITH, 68 LORD ST LIVERPOOL
