Vase-shaped and on circular foot chased with a band of water-leaves, the lower part of the body chased with leaves on a matted ground, the body chased with a racing scene and later engraved with an inscription within a berried laurel wreath, with two cornucopiae bracket handles terminating in bacchic masks, the cover with gadrooned rim, a band of water-leaves and a detachable horse finial, on ebonised wood base, marked on side, cover and finial, with later French import marks
