Shaped-oval and on four boldly modelled ram's mask, hoof and shell feet, the body with two leaf-capped shell and scroll handles, each with shell terminals with shaped cartouche between, the detachable domed cover chased with a panel of scalework, shells and scrolls, on a matted ground and with shell, scroll and foliage ring handle, with gadrooned shell and foliate scroll borders, the body and cover each engraved with a coat-of-arms within rococo cartouche, marked on base and cover, and an Italian shaped oval white-metal stand, with gadrooned border, modern, stamped 925
