Scrolls containing prayers for the following:
1. Protection against Satan, for a woman named Welte-Libanos, 133 x 97mm, 2 membranes, text written in black and pink ink in a free traditional hand, 4 illustrations: Guardian angel; 2 Seals of Solomon; 4 faces arranged in a square diagram below double row of faces
2. Protection against evil spirits and infertility, for Welte-Hiwot, 3 membranes, 88 x 173mm, text written in black and red (faded) ink in neat traditional hand, 3 illustrations coloured in yellow, red and blue): Seal of Solomon; Guardian angel with raised sword; Guardian angel; a ?lion
3. Protection against heamorrhaging, for Ehte-Marian, 239 x 80mm, 4 membranes, text written in traditional hand in black and red ink (red faded), 4 illustrations coloured in blue and brown: Guardian angel; apotropaic diagram; 4 faces set within frame; small apotropaic diagram (small tears to edges) (3)
