6 volumes in 7, 8 (163 x 108mm). Printer's device on title and final verso of each volume (except vol. III, which has device on title only), ornamental headpieces and initials. (Without blank IV:*8, small wormholes in first half of vol. I, worming in II: quire A with damage to 2 leaves, slight marginal worming in vol. IV, repaired tears in final leaf of vol. I, some light browning, occasionally heavy in vols. III and IV, occasional staining and light spotting.) 19th-century calf, red and green spine labels (some wear at hinges, small chips in spine labels, upper cover of vol. V detached).

The manuscript on which this Aldine edition was based is preserved in the Marciana at Venice.
