EDITIO PRINCEPS OF ALL TEXTS AND THE EARLIEST APPEARANCE OF ANY WORKS BY BASIL THE GREAT, PLUTARCH AND XENOPHON IN THE ORIGINAL GREEK. The Tabulae, or Pinas, is a moral dialogue, spuriously attributed to the Greek philosopher and student of Socrates, Cebes of Thebes. This edition has also been assigned to the Greek Gymnasium press at Rome, c.1517, since the same Alopa Greek types were later used to print there, but it is unquestionably a product of Alopa's press at Florence.
