Contents as in GW. 266 and 133 (of 138, lacking -6 and without final blank) leaves. 26 lines. Type: 2:114Gk (text), 2:114R (titles, preliminary matter, colophons). Initial spaces with guide-letters. (Title trimmed at upper margin to remove inscription, light stain at a few upper margins, one sheet lightly soiled.) 18th-century red morocco, double patterned-fillet border around sides, flat spines gilt, gilt turn-ins, gilt edges.

EDITIO PRINCEPS of the great majority of the letters. Among the authors are Synesius, Plato, Aristotle, Alexander the Great, Isocrates, St. Basil, etc.; other letters are spurious or of doubtful authorship, such as Hippocrates, Euripides, and others.
