(Lacks , spotting in first few leaves, a few light ink stains.) 19th-century English tree calf, triple fillet on upper cover, flat spine gilt, red leather lettering-piece (slight wear at extremities, short split at upper hinge). Provenance: 'Donati Jannoctii' (contemporary title inscription); Padua, Jesuit College (17th-century title inscription); early marginal annotations; ?Beaujeu, Abbot Makhon (gift inscription dated 1703).
