(Worming at beginning and end affects text and plates slightly, occasional splits in folds, a few short tears just affecting plates, some soiling and staining.) Contemporary vellum (rebacked with cloth, some worming, edges worn, new endpapers). Provenance: Demetrius Naprag., Archbishop of Colocza (ownership inscription on half-title).
Second edition - the first appeared two years earlier - of this extremely popular work which went through at least eleven editions before 1640. Most of the plates depict attractive town views, inter alia, Orlans, Burgos, Barcelona, Prague and Munich. Graesse I, 58.
