Dodgson's photograph diaries record visits by the Drury sisters to be photographed in September 1869 and July 1870. Two photographs of Ella Drury and one of Emmie Drury are in the Warren Weaver Collection at the Humanities Research Centre, Austin, Texas. (2)

Edward Wakeling, current editor of Charles Dodgson's diaries, has kindly informed us that the photograph of Ella Drury was taken at 'The Chestnuts', Guildford, early in September 1869, and that of Mrs Drury in Dodgson's Tom Quad rooftop studio on 16 June 1874.
