Autograph letter, signed 'George R.I.', on Buckingham Palace headed stationery, dated November 2 1928, 1pp, 8, to 'My dear Rupert' [The Earl of Iveagh], 'I thank you and your brothers so much for the beautiful catalogue of your father's pictures which he has given to the Nation, which I shall place in my library at Windsor Castle. The Queen and I are looking forward to our visit to Elveden next week, I only hope the weather will be fine.', with original envelope, postmarked Buckingham Palace.
