Smythe/1904' stamped in gold top left corner, containing signatures mainly relating to South Africa and Rhodesia at the turn of the century such as Frank Rhodes, Louis Botha, Selborne, F.R. Moor, Wilfrid Thesiger and others. Also 'R. Scott' with a mounted British Antarctic Expedition/Terra Nova symbol cut from headed notepaper, and 'Gladstone'.
