A pair of Chamberlain's, Worcester crested two-handled ice-pails and covers
with artichoke finials and scroll handles, painted and gilt with the monogram C below a ducal coronet within oval panles between sprigs of flowers, below 'harlequin' pattern border served with panels of allegorical figures, the lower sections and cover moulded and gilt with bands of stiff leaves, script marks to covers, circa 1795 (both pails cracked, one cover with cracks, the other damaged and repaired, some minor rubbing and staining) -- 29.5cm. high; and a shaped triangular dish en suite (damages and losses) See colour plate 6 (3)
