An English teddy bear
with golden mohair, large clear and black glass eyes painted on reverse, pronounced clipped snout, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed shaped limbs, linen pads and card lined feet --17in. (43cm.) tall, circa 1920, possibly Terry (pads worn, foot pads recovered but worn exposing card, loss of mohair to outer arms, dirty, joints stiff, overall wear); and an American 'stick' bear --19in. (48cm.) tall, circa 1920 (considerable overall wear)
