A Farnell teddy bear
with golden mohair, clear and black glass eye painted on reverse, pronounced clipped snout, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, jointed shaped limbs, webbed paw claws, linen pads, card lined feet and hump --16in. (41cm.) tall, 1920s (lacks left eye, loss of paint to remaining right eye, repaired split to right wrist, wear to left foot pad exposing card); and a Chad Valley 'Toffee' bear --11in. (28cm.) tall, circa 1953 (lacks original knitted hat and scarf, pads recovered, loss of mohair to tummy, slight overall wear)
